- Creates Two I2C Connections From One
- Creates Two GPIO Plugs with GPIO0 From One with GPIO0 & GPIO1
Description
The Trēo™ I2C and GPIO splitter creates two I2C connections from one. It also moves GPIO1 from the original connector to GPIO0 on the second output allowing GPIO0 and GPIO1 to control two separate single GPIO modules. The original GPIO connection with two GPIO pins (GPIO0 & GPIO1) can control two single GPIO devices that each connect to a GPIO0 connection. (E.g. A single relay and a single button.) This module is a part of the NightShade Trēo system, patent pending.
The Trēo system currently supports Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and STM32 Nucleo development boards.
What is Trēo?
NightShade Trēo is a system of electronic modules that have standardized mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces. It provides you with a way to quickly develop electronic systems around microprocessor development boards. The grid attachment system, common connector/cabling, and extensive cross-platform software library allow you more time to focus on your application. Trēo is supported with detailed documentation and CAD models for each device.
