Description
The HC-SR501 is a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor. Its high reliability, sensitivity, and wide operating voltage range make it ideal for battery-powered automatic control projects. It has optional photosensitivity control and temperature compensation. It can be used to automatically turn on lights in a basement, porch, or garage. The PIR sensor sends a digital high signal when objects enter the sensing range and returns low when the object leaves. This simple output makes implementation a breeze.
