Description
The Sharp GP2Y0A02YK0F is a reliable distance measuring sensor that uses triangulation to detect distance and then outputs the measured distance as an analog voltage. Composed of a position sensitive detector, an infrared emitting diode, and a signal processing circuit, it works with a variety of surface reflectivities and environmental temperatures. This sensor is ideal for use in a proximity device such as a touchless switch or environmental detection for an autonomous robot.
