- 1 kg (2.2 lb) rated
- Use with HX711 Amplifier
Description
This differential load cell is designed to be used in household scales. One end is mounted rigidly while the load is attached to the other end and allowed to float. Strain gauges at the middle of the bar measure how much the aluminum bends under load. This sensor can be read using our HX711 load cell amplifier. This load cell is rated to measure loads up to 1 kg (2.2 lbs). This load cell is used by mounting one end securely and supporting your load on the other end.
This load cell is made of an aluminum alloy and has strain sensors on the thinnest parts to measure how much the metal bends. There are four strain gauges on the load cell and the are wired in a Wheatstone bridge configuration. A Wheatstone bridge requires an excitation voltage (5-10V) and outputs a differential voltage proportional to the change in the strain gauges’ resistance. This differential voltage can be read and amplified by the HX711 load cell amplifier.
